Harper’s BAZAAR celebrates ICONS by Carine Roitfeld
The worldwide editors of Harper’s BAZAAR celebrated the third ICONS portfolio by Carine Roitfeld with a black tie event at the Plaza Hotel, including a special performance by international recording artist Kanye West.

ICONS by Carine Roitfeld appeared in the September issues of all 32 international editions of Harper’s BAZAAR. Kim Kardashian West and Kayne West were photographed by Karl Lagerfeld with creative direction by Stephen Gan, the story includes models Natasha Poly, Lara Stone and Lindsey Wixson.
Partners for the event included Infor, a leading provider of cloud software for the fashion industry, Laura Mercier, whose makeup was featured on the cover and inside the ICONS Portfolio, and Stella Artois. Laura Mercier created a custom-chocolate station, where chocolates designed in the palettes of Laura Mercier signature colors were edible treats for guests. Stella Artois created a sleek lounge where guests enjoyed a specialty cocktail, THE ICONS Cidre Cocktail by Master Beer Sommelier Marc Stroobandt. Infor, in its third year of partnership with the event, has teamed up with New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) to launch the Infor/FIT Fashion Design ICONS Award to foster the next generation of leaders in fashion design. FIT student Lara Tabak won the first ICONS Award, and BAZAAR editor Kristen Ingersoll wore her winning design on the red carpet at the event.
Bertaud-Belieu served Cuvée Prestige Rosé Vintage 2015 from their Saint-Tropez winery alongside cocktails by Belvedere Vodka and Champagne by Moët & Chandon.
